Benefits of a STEM Program in Your School

Schools who conduct STEM Fairs give students the opportunity to pursue their STEM interests, curiosity, and independent projects that were motivated by their in-class science experiences. They give their students assistance, recognition, feedback, and awards for their STEM projects. They give their students the opportunity to showcase their projects at the CPS Regional and Citywide STEM Fairs, with the further opportunity for recognition, feedback, and awards, including college scholarships and participation in the Illinois Junior Academy of Sciences and Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

Schools who conduct STEM Fairs support Chicago Public Schools “STEM Ready” goals.
