Following are many programs and areas to support the CPS Student Science Fair, Inc.
Corporate Sponsorship ($20,000 or more)
Join our existing corporate sponsor: Peoples Gas, an Integry’s Energy Group Company. Corporate sponsors receive an invitation to serve on the CPSSSF Board of Directors and recognition in all STEM Exhibition public relations and promotional materials. Contact Ethelene Hare at Ehare@att.net to discuss this opportunity.
In addition to Corporate Sponsorships, the following levels of contribution are recognized:
- Executive Circle $5000
- Angels $1000
- Patrons $500
- Donors $100
Research Grant Program ($2,000 and up)
Provides funds so that Mini grants ($100/semester) and Maxi-grants ($500/year) can be made available to students requiring materials not available at their school in order to continue their STEM research efforts. Contact Elizabeth S. Copper at escopper@cps.edu to discuss Research Grant Program.
Science Clubs ($2,500 per club)
After-school clubs to help students develop their independent research projects for the STEM Exhibition. Contact Elizabeth S. Copper at escopper@cps.edu to discuss the grant, workshop and club programs.
Scholarships ($1,000 and up)
Qualified graduating seniors, pursuing a major in STEM fields who have participated in at least one CPS STEM Exhibition are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Since 1956 CPSSSF has awarded scholarships to 1193 CPS seniors. Scholarships in the minimum amount of $1,000 are encouraged and will be named in honor of the donor. Special Awards ($50 - $1000)
Offer one or more special awards to Citywide STEM Exhibition participants. Each year companies and individual donors provide a wealth of prizes including gift cards, cash awards, tours of science facilities, as well as science and math supplies to recognize students’ efforts.
